Looks so today but we will see about that a week from now.The Gas Buddy blog says “Since Monday morning wholesale gasoline prices are up an additional 11.5 cents per gallon, on average, nationwide. San Francisco saw the highest wholesale increase since Monday, up 24-cents per gallon.”
The upward trend mirrored a rise in oil prices in the past several days that was thrown into reverse Feb 4 sending oil back down to the $48 level on oversupply.
Tulare County Judge Val Saucedo says he did not have a romantic relationship with a clerk. Instead his lawyer is quoted in the Porterville Recorder this week as saying he was trying to help her out of a financial bind that was followed by an extortion scheme on the part of the clerk, wrote Randall Miller of Los Angeles as part of a judicial inquiry. Saucedo admits he paid the clerk money including $15,000 used to buy a BMW.
His “handling of these personal matters were imperfect.” Saucedo’s attorney made it clear he did not outright accuse the clerk of extortion.
