Planet Fitness, Inc. (NYSE: PLNT), one of the largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers in the U.S. will open a new location in Hanford. With some 1500 locations across the US, Planet Fitness will lease an 18,000sf building to be constructed by Target center developer Dave Paynter. The new complex will be positioned in front of Lowe’s next to Wendy’s on Lacey.
The project was in the city’s site plan review process this week.
Planet Fitness has locations in Fresno, Visalia, Porterville and Delano. Gyms are open 24 hours.
