Tulare County voter turnout was a respectable 74% this November compared to 80% statewide. Voter registered Democrat added up to 66,000 this year compared to 76,400 registered GOP. That is a differential of 10,400 more Republicans. By contrast voters registered in the November 2016 election added up to 65,260 Republicans vs 50,500 Democrats -a 14,760 GOP margin.

Next door in Fresno County, that county went blue by a larger margin this year with Biden winning Fresno County by 53 to 45%- around 29,000 votes more than President Trump. Trump did better in 2016 but lost Fresno County by 17,000 votes in 2016.
