Barrelhouse deal for Hanford Bastille falls through
There are no more negotiations between the City of Hanford and the Barrelhouse Brewing company to buy the city-owned Bastille property in the Downton square says city Planning Director Darlene Mata. She adds there are not other talks with other users either.
Visalia’s Northside could get pharmacy
A start up company – Visalia Pharmacy – will open a new drug store a the corner of NE Third and Houston according to a site plan permit application filed July 12 with the city. The small pharmacy would occupy an empty building last used by a payday loan company. The architectural firm handling the project says the applicant does not yet want to talk about their plans.
It would be the only drug store in the heart of the Northside since Walgreens closed a few years ago at Houston and Dinuba Blvd. Only CVS has a pharmacy inside the Target store on the northern-most part of the city. CVS closed their stand
-alone drug store nearby.
Tulare car dealer sells

The Tulare GM dealership Sturgeon and Beck in Tulare has announced the sale of the dealership to Chevy dealer Merle Stone to be located at 2100 E Tulare Ave in Tulare. The deal is set to close July 18 says this letter to the public.Merle Stone is buying the current Sturgeon and Beck property at 350 S L St but has not announced how it might be used.
Sturgeon and Beck has been a fixture in Tulare for 93 years.
