Grocery workers in the UFCW are voting today whether to authorize a strike at Albertsons, Vons and Ralphs stores in Southern and Central California. The grocery companies and union have been negotiating for months on a new contract. Word on potential strike could come Tuesday or Wednesday. UFWV Local 770 covers both Los Angeles County and the Central Coast.
