Gloomy forecast
January was hot across the US and dry in California and now February looks like a duster as well, at least through the 20th as high pressure along the California coast pushing the jet stream far north into the Rockies.
Here are two maps. The top shows much below rainfall in California in January and the second shows the forecast cumulative precipitation in February.
