The Board of Directors of Save Cuesta Inlet announced September 5 that “It is with great pleasure and excitement that our community has raised sufficient funds to purchase Cuesta Inlet! The 100% volunteer team of local citizens worked tirelessly for more than three years to raise awareness and raise the necessary funds to purchase the Inlet. “
Escrow is scheduled to close on the 13 acre Los Osos property October 1, 2025.The group had a goal of raising at least $735,000, the appraised value.
In early 2026, the nonprofit will invite the community to share input as it begins the next phase of ensuring the Inlet’s long-term care and vitality. Donations will continue to be welcomed in support of this next chapter.
