New BMW Location
Cost BMW plans to build a new 24,000 square foot two-story auto dealership at 1251 Calle Joaquin on 2.7 acres. The project to be located just off LOVR and Hwy 101 got the approval of the city Architectural Review Commission earlier this month. The building would be located at the developed end of the street with Hwy 101 to the south and east.To the west is the new tire store and Chevy/ Mercedes dealership.
Relocation the current site for the BMW showroom from Los Osos Valley Road should give its owner, the Cardinale Group, room to expand its Nissan dealership next door or otherwise add a new franchise.Cardinale owns both dealerships. Monterey-based Cardinale owns dealerships in Seaside,Salinas,Corona, Tahoe, Las Vegas and Mesa Arizona.
SLO TOT Monies Up 5.5% in March
The City of San Luis Obispo saw a 5.5% increase in bed tax revenue TOT’s, in March 2016 compared to March 20015. For the fiscal year so far TOTs are up 6.2%.
Marriott Residence Inn Plan For New Hotel In Paso
The City of Paso Robles is processing a permit for a 119 room Marriott Residence Inn. The four story extended stay hotel is seeking a conditional use permit. The project is located off Union Rd on South Vine.
Sonic Drive Inn Plans Morro Bay
Sonic Drive Inn is moving forward on plans to build a new restaurant at the corner of Main St and Hwy 41 in Morro Bay. The city has filed a mitigated negative declaration that will allow the project to move forward.The eatery would be 1400sf and includes both drive up service and drive thru service.
