Lots of Interest In Los Osos Haggen Spot
Shopping center owner Clayton Gambril says news that Haggen will be leaving the LOVR shopping center is a “headache now but in the long run it will be a good thing.”
He adds that since the word was out that the Pacific NW grocer would close in Los Osos “we’ve had a lot of interest and we are not worried the space will stay vacant for long.”
Bigger Bike Lanes In Downtown Los Osos
The paving project on Los Osos Valley Rd this week will result in larger separated bike lanes on LOVR between South Bay Blvd and Bush says county planner Michelle Matson. There will be bigger – 2 ft separation – between the cars and bikes on both sides of the street she says.That will mean no more parking on the street along this stretch including in front of the Chase Bank.
Montana De Oro To Get New Communication Tower – Will Boost Visitor Wifi
California Department of Parks and Recreation plan to install a new communications antenna near the Spooner Ranch House in Montana de Oro State Park to improve public safety radio coverage, visitor center internet connectivity and visitor wi-fi access.
