July 19,2015-
It’s just noon on Sunday and and the Central Coast is getting a record soaking with remnants of tropical storm Dolores pushing into the state right through SLO and Monterey counties (see graphic).

View of the storm today
Also in the Sierra2thesea reading area the central Sierra is getting some of the same stuff with the Kaweah River flowing high and muddy. Lodgepole got over half an inch today.
Los Osos has been receiving a half an inch an hour downpour for the past half hour and to our north in Paso Robles they already have got 3.3 inches in the bucket since the lightning inspired storm started at midnight.
NWS Hanford says rainfall in Fresno set a record today.
Step outside in our front yard in Los Osos and it feels like Hawaii.
Let hope this is all part of the expected El Nino drought-buster!
