Fire Season Over – clouds of dust, then lots of snow

NWS Hanford says today “Snow will be measured by the foot in the Southern Sierra Nevada Tuesday night through Thursday night.”
Reports say Tahoe resorts like Sugar Bowl & Kirkwood could see up to 45-52 inches in total by Friday respectively on the upper mountains. To the south Fresno’s China Peak may open in time for Thanksgiving weekend if enough snow falls, perhaps a foot, and it stays cold for snowmaking. Over in Mammoth it looks like snow all week with to 3 ft of snow in the high country.Up in Redding the 10 day forecast calls for rain the next 8 out of 10 days.LA is getting wet too.Early December storms are poised to come as well. What a transition for the Golden State!
