Kaweah Delta hospital in Visalia is caring for 111 patients with COVID-19, 13 of those patients are in the ICU. All of them are adults, intubated, and on ventilators. We have 41 total ICU beds, eight of those beds are open, and that brings our ICU bed availability to 19.5 percent.

The number of COVID patients has increased from around 30 a month earlier.

The hospital says their biggest problem is the number of staffers that are out due to COVUD. This week the number 143- up from around 37 a month ago.
