Some 543 workers at the Bank Of America Fresno call center will be laid off by the end of next month. The bank notified the state through a mandated WARN notice this week of the pending layoffs to take place as of August 31.
The call center on Palm opened in Fresno in 2000. B of A has announced a downsizing of its US workforce this year.
