Farmers and communities in Central California awaiting some good news on water might have reason to hope over the next 10 days. Predictions of 8 and 9 inches of water falling in some parts of the state would be far above normal for this time of the year. Redding,next to Shasta Reservoir for example, gets just 2.5 in of rain on average in April. As Shasta fills this Spring there will be water for Valley farmers and communities later in the year.
