Pet store retailer Petco is closing their store in Madonna Plaza in December. The 20,000sf storefront at 271 Madonna Rd, San Luis Obispo is up for lease. Store employees say there are no plans to relocate elsewhere in town. They say there is a rent increase dispute with the landlord.
Petco stores are mostly in California with 191 locations, 13% of all Petco locations in America.There are Petco stores in Paso Robles, Arroyo Grande and Santa Maria.
