Don’t give up on El Nino just yet as several storms are coming into Northern and Central California starting next Wednesday night. Here is the expected rain totals for Monday Feb 15 thru Monday Feb 22. The map indicates up to 5 inches in the north state and 3.9 inches in the Sierra over a weeks time. SoCal should see some rain as well.
Meanwhile the forecast map for March is looking more promising as storms will again push high pressure out of the way.(see lower map)
