The unemployment rate in the San Luis Obispo County was 4.1 percent in September 2015,
down from a revised 4.7 percent in August 2015, and below the year-ago estimate of 5.4 percent. Over the year the county added 3700 new non-farm jobs while farm jobs remained the same.
This compares with an unadjusted unemployment rate of 5.5 percent for California and 4.9 percent for the nation during the same period.
