California average gasoline prices are down in the past week more than a dime to around $3.71 a gallon as of May 31. The drop coming after Memorial Day is reflecting moderately lower oil prices as well as an end to refinery issues in the state. Gas prices around the state have been rising since mid-April when they were down in the $3 range.
