Atmospheric River Event For Northern California Includes North Bay Area
SLO Could Get Wet
After receiving zero rainfall in the month of January the Bay Area is bracing for an atmospheric river event starting Thursday of this week. The SF NWS is “FORECASTING RAINFALL TOTALS OF NEARLY A FOOT IN THE NORTH BAY FROM THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.”
Some weather models show the storm will reach as far south as Tulare County and SLO County with forecaster John Lindsey predicting wet weather Friday,Saturday and Sunday for SLO.
