UPDATE: Good Ol high pressure put storms into northern Calif only into the first week!

-November 23,2023-
The GFS weather in model is pointing to a wet first week in December across California after a dry spell during this 2023 Thanksgiving holiday week.
The Central Coast could see rain as early as December 1 and repeated storms coming into the state from the north over the over the week through December 9 with some rain every day and heavy rain on most of those days.
Fed by an El Nino pattern, the model shows an Atmospheric River coming from the southwest December 6.
Currently, we have El Niño conditions, strong El Niño conditions at that. And those are continuing to intensify,” Daniel Swain, a climate scientist at the University of California, Los Angeles said during a recent webinar on the subject.
“Models suggest that the current El Niño event will further strengthen it potentially into a very strong, or a quote-unquote, ‘super’ El Niño event, within the next couple of months,” he added.
Of course model can change a week out but SF NWS said it predicts rain starting November 30 for every day through Dec 7.
