San Luis Obispo County has filed complaints against two contractors who are working on the Los Osos Wastewater project doing home lateral connections. The complaints have been filed with the California Contractors State License Board. The notice is included on today’s update to the project’s Contractor Interest List that gives consumers a list of approved contractors to do the pipe connection from the street to homes. The excavation and septic tank work must be done using county guidelines as the homes stop using their septic systems and hook up to the new sewer line.
The two complaints were filed against Hometown Plumbing Sewer & Drain, based-in Bakersfield ,Mike Solorio, contact – as well as Pumping For Less, based-in Bakersfield,Billy Williford, contact person.
The notice says that the complaint “is only an allegation of probable violation.” It does not affect the status of the licenses as of now.”If the complaint is referred to the Office of the Attorney General for legal action, it may result in suspension or revocation” the county’s notice says.
