Existing home sales in San Luis Obispo County fell in May both month over month ( down 3.8%) and year to year down 5.6%. The median home price was $498,000 compared to $522,000 in April and $487,000 in May 2014.
The yearly trend in SLO falls short of other parts of California where sales this May compared to last were up by 9%statewide and 22% higher in Santa Barbara County and up 12%in Santa Cruz. Sales were down in Monterey County by 9%
