How This High Pressure and Never-Ending Heat Could Go Away

August 30,2017-

It is not too early to look for the first fall storm that could relieve weeks of oppressive heat and record breaking high pressure up and down the West Coast.

NOAA’s forecast two-week out, shows an Alaska storm reaching the Pacific Northwest around September 10 – coming down as far south as Central California with some potential moisture and cooler air.

This map looks impressive.

Still too early to say if this will happen – but there is hope. Stay tuned.
